The Park Service is grappling with under-funding, staff shortages and an $11 billion repair backlog, despite a 19 percent increase in visitors over the last five years.

The National Park Foundation directly supports programs in our parks. These programs protect the national parks, connect more people to parks by increasing access for all, and inspire a love of parks to a new generation of outdoor explorers.
